All of us would love to make a little more money. Sometimes just a little to supplement an income can be a huge help. Today it is easier that you think to get a little extra cash in your bank accounts. Most of us today have our own personal websites. We can get them for free and use them as a method to keep others informed of what we are doing. You can actually turn your website into a way of making some extra cash for you. By placing some ads on your site, you have the potential to earn some cash.

When people go onto your site, if they see an ad that is interesting and click it on you receive what is known as a referral payment. The more clicks the better. Gradually your earnings will increase as your website gets viewed.

You’re not likely going to get rich with just your own personal website. However, it is a way to get started. There may come a time when you create another site and you can start turning this into a money making venture as well. You could sign up for an affiliate program and make money through their ads. To do this well you need to think of an appropriate affiliate program that readers of your site would appreciate. For example, if you site is about pets, you may want to look for affiliates that work with pet supplies, pet food or veterinary services. You’ll want to have affiliates that will enhance your site. Having ads for rare books or sporting goods on a pet’s website isn’t going to attract too much attention.

Once you have a site up and running, you need to get a list of affiliate companies that will give you their advertising banners. There are loads of companies on the net that will help you. You can also get performance statistics on them as well. You will be able to track how much you will earn and how you will be paid. Once you get a few banners onto your site you’ll be able to check the progress for yourself.

Two companies that are incredibly popular are commission junction and link share. These will both help you find affiliates for your website. They have loads of good, accurate information available on what companies would be best and how well they perform.

Signing up for one of these affiliate programs is easy.

You will be asked for personal information so don’t be put off. This is necessary because they will be paying you commission money. You’ll be expected to give your social security number as well as take information. Once you sign up you will need to think about which programs to choose.

Commission junction has all of the information available on which companies pay which rates of commission. They also have information on how well and timely they make their payments. If a company is a shaky reputation, commission junction will know about it.

If you’re looking to make a little more money then it is easy.

Why not take the first step and turn you personal website into a way to make cash. Fill up those blank spaces with advertisements and let the money roll in. you can always expand and create different websites. They more ads you can get the better. Affiliate programs are great ways to help you earn money. You can start off small with your own site and then expand into other areas. Eventually, you could build your own affiliate business. Look into affiliate marketing. It could be quite lucrative.

What is Affiliate Marketing (and can you make money from it) ?

Affiliate marketing is many things. Affiliate marketing can provide the necessary tools for the creative and hardworking individual to venture out on their own. Affiliate marketing can provide the opportunity to earn money doing what you are good at. Affiliate marketing can allow someone to use their skills and expertise for there own financial gain, rather than the financial gain of another person or entity. Finally, Affiliate marketing can get people started in their own business enterprises with nearly no cost or risk to themselves.

Affiliate marketing can do all of those things and more. First, Affiliate marketing is perfect for the independent hardworking individual. Many of us are stuck in day to day jobs. We work incredibly hard and receive little reward. There is nearly no incentive to work harder. When you work in the field of affiliate marketing, the world is your oyster. You're paid by your performance so the harder you work, generally the better of you’ll be. When you work as an affiliate, you are working as a representative of another company. However, your reward is directly linked with what you produce. If you’re someone who frequently gets good results at work then this could be a great opportunity for you.

Next, Affiliate marketing can provide the opportunity to earn money by doing something that you are good at. Those that have a knack for sales and marketing are perfect for affiliate marketing. Those that are creative and used to hard work can also make an excellent living. Your skills will be used to work for you. If you have a natural knack for these kinds of projects then why not have them increase your bank balance and not someone else’s? As an affiliate, anything that you do to increase sales or traffic if it is internet based will benefit you and you directly. The company won’t get rich while you say poor. You’re the one who will reap the rewards.

Finally, Affiliate marketing can get someone started in their own business at nearly no cost or risk to themselves. Many of us would love to work for ourselves. The two main reasons why we don’t are money and risk. Youcash need a decent amount of capital to start even a small business. The risk involved is also tremendous with more than half of small businesses failing in the first year. Affiliate marketing can get you started working for yourself. They handle all of the products and advertising and you just concentrate on selling. If yours is an internet based program, you concentrate on increasing traffic. Most of these programs are free or involve very low initial start up costs. You’re paid according to how well you do regardless of how the company is performing.

If you have dreamed of working for yourself then affiliate marketing can be your dream come true. You can make money based on your hard work. You are the one rewarded for your efforts, not a boss or a group of shareholders. You don’t have to worry about financial risk. The head company will take care of all the detail allowing you to use your skills to the best of your ability. If you’re creative, hardworking and want to be your own boss, consider the world of affiliate marketing. Your skills and expertise could be increasing your bank balance, not someone else’s.

The Commission Domination Bonus

by Raynold Oscar

The Bonus can make a considerable difference in increasing the amount of traffic, sales, and revenue that your website can earn. That is reason that all of the information that is accessible must be considered. It can be very unpleasant if you overlook something. If you want to increase return on investment (ROI), you should learn all about the type of selections that you have. The Commission Domination can help you to select the options that are best for you.

One of the biggest problems that any Internet marketer has is trying to increase the traffic to their websites. It takes even more work and is even more difficult to acquire targeted potential customers to their websites. There are many different ways to increase traffic to a website. One of those ways is to use social media websites to acquire the targeted potential customers that the website needs.

You can use traffic exchanges to get a significant amount of traffic to your website but you might not make any money from this traffic. This kind of traffic doesn't really care what you're marketing. Targeted potential customers are the people who visit your website because they are interested in the advice that you provide or what you are selling. For instance, if somebody reads a weight loss blog and they see an advertisement for your website that says something similar to Lose 30 pounds in 30 Days and then they click on that advertisement, these are targeted potential customers.

One of the Commission Domination Bonus' is the use of social media websites for increasing the traffic of potential customers. For instance, YouTube attracts millions of viewers to their website daily, and you can acquire some of that traffic for your website. Also, search engines are what for supplies over 50% of that traffic to YouTube. Consider for a moment that somebody goes to Google and does a search for how to build a better mousetrap. Then you see a YouTube video on the very first page when the results return, and you want to watch someone do it because it is much easier way to learn. Many people will simply click on that link since they would rather watch a video about it as opposed to reading instructions.

The use of social media websites to increase the traffic to your website is only one of the Commission Domination Bonus'. There are others. You will have to take stock of your own situation to determine which one is right for you. Sometimes the most inane clues can hold the key to great success. Ultimately, you are the only one who knows what that key is to your success.

Regardless of which Commission Domination Bonus that you choose, it will increase the traffic of potential customers. If you choose a video that show how to build a better mousetrap at the end of the video you will tell viewer how to use the link for complete instructions. Once they get to your website they find a guide that will show the viewer how to build a better mousetrap. As a result, you are advertising a product to them which is a targeted potential customer. The probability of the viewer purchasing the product is much better than the person who saw your website on a traffic exchange

Affiliate Marketing Myths

Affiliate marketing is definitely one of the most misunderstood parts of Internet marketing. Finally, you can learn what affiliate marketing is really about.

One of the more frequent myths circulating is that affiliate programs are all alike. In reality, there are several different types of affiliate marketing programs, formats and structures. You have Cost per Action, Cost per Sale and Cost per Click. These programs come under affiliate marketing but each of them performs a different job. Let's start with Cost per Action; here when you become an affiliate and start promoting, you will get paid for every action performed through, which could be something as simple as filling out a small form or entering email address. However, Cost per Sale is quite simply where you're paid a commission amount for each sale you refer to the merchant.

Cost per Click is just when you put some ads on your site and you get paid each time a visitor clicks on them. These program types all have similar principles, yet there are inherent differences. Revenue is shared with affiliates with each type, but the amount is calculated either by how many clicks, sales or leads you refer.

These differences can give you an idea of the full potential available with affiliate marketing. It's one of the easiest ways to make money online and there is absolutely nothing that comes close to it in terms of flexibility and startup ease. However, it's important to be sure you always stick to the terms and conditions laid out within the rules and regulations of the affiliate program you've chosen. As long as you're not spamming in any way, you should be good.

An affiliate marketing myth that has been rampant is that it takes a lot of time to actually maintain and take care of affiliate pages or blogs. All you have to do is update your site and readers with new content once in awhile, and that only takes a few minutes.

So, for instance, you are in the dog training niche and promoting an ebook on your site. So, you wrote a few articles or made a few posts for your blog and you are sending traffic to it; you won't have to worry about adding new content unless the product's author decides to make changes to it.

Never be intimidated by running your site; it's a piece of cake. On the other hand, thousands of visitors won't magically appear on your site and that is where the work comes in. This doesn't involve directly doing anything to your affiliate page but deals with other factors that can be easily dealt with.

One of the biggest myths surrounding affiliate marketing is that people think that it's a way to get rich quick. This is a misconception that is held by many new affiliate marketers because they usually don't understand the dynamics involved in succeeding with affiliate marketing. The truth is that there are affiliates who have become extremely successful and have made millions of dollars. But this didn't happen overnight. Rather than getting rich quickly, they acted fast and consistently.

Affiliate marketing should be treated seriously like any business. You can't treat it as a hobby or a side project and expect to make grow. It needs to be treated just like a true business and you need to concentrate on it fully.

Another misconception is that in order for a page to succeed it must be loaded with content. Actually, one short page can outsell a page filled to the brim with content. It is actually quite simple why a one paged lander will outperform a content stuffed page; the visitor only has one targeted page to keep their attention so the affiliate has a greater chance of convincing them to buy. Whereas when you have too many links on the page leading to your other content and when you have too much content surrounding the product, you'll end up distracting the prospect and maybe even confuse them.

Your visitors are on your site because they think that the information on your page and your product can possible solve their problem so use that knowledge to develop a webpage that does exactly that.

The next myth is one based on fear; there is too much competition. Don't fall for this misinformation because it is not true. Even if you go to Clickbank and find a product with a lot of affiliates; it can still be profitable for you. The majority of affiliates who sign up for a program don't even put in the effort to get traffic. In other words, there may be 1-5% of affiliates who sells 95% of the products. Even though it is a bad choice, you are free to pick a less “competitive” product to promote.

Many wrongly believe that it takes thousands of monthly visitors in order to make money.

It's an affiliate marketing myth that you need to use fancy banners on your site if you want to see results.

If you put these on your site then you will encourage a lot of visitors to hit the back button after they land on your site. Just remember that any banners need to be simple and in accordance with the theme of your site. An image of the product is good enough.

All in all, the myths that we discussed above are commonly believed by new affiliates. So don't be ignorant like many and keep pushing your knowledge ahead.

Cross Caveman and Internet Marketing; What Do You Get?

Before you can attempt to redefine something, you must first be an expert in the subject.

Commission Overload redefines affiliate marketing because Tim Atkinson is an expert in that field.

Let us first look at what affiliate marketing was, what it is, and what it will be after Commission Overload gets introduced to the masses.

At it’s core, affiliate marketing is basically a person who has a product to sell using affiliates to generate leads. This has been going on forever, since the dawn of mankind. For instance, thousands of years ago there was this one in particular Neanderthal who was the best spear maker in all the land, he had figured out how to make spears that wouldn’t constantly break when hunting, and they were sharper too! He was so busy creating his spears that he didn’t have time to go out and sell them, so he had other Neanderthals do it for him. And for every sale that one of his workers made, the worker would get a percentage of the profits. The worker had to go out and talk to every person he saw to try and convince that person of the quality of the amazing spear. I call this caveman marketing. Caveman marketing is going person to person trying to sell something to receive a commission off of it. It started with the first cavemen and was the dominant form of selling up until the internet came along. Caveman marketing is not what commission overload is.

Once the internet came along, everything changed. All of a sudden, you could get information to the entire world with a few keystrokes and a click of the mouse. And when you’re able to reach millions and millions of people at once, obviously this is going to be where people start selling stuff. Thus dawned the age of Internet Marketing. No longer did people have to go door to door selling stuff, or spend countless millions on print ads to distribute to millions of people. Not only did the internet make things easier for the people trying to sell their products, it made it easier for people trying to buy products. With it now being so easy to buy, people started buying more and more. The internet is probably the single greatest thing to ever happen to commerce.

Commission Overload is not solely internet marketing either.

So if Commission Overload isn’t just internet marketing, and isn’t just caveman marketing, what is it? It is the perfect hybrid of both. It teaches you how to take the best of both types of marketing, to achieve true commission overload. The key principles you learn teach you how to apply your online marketing to the offline crowd, and how to apply your offline marketing to the online crowd. It’s a two for one punch that perfectly blends the strengths of both into a super marketing method that will do nothing short of create you a ton of commission overload. Welcome to the new era of affiliate marketing.
